About ESI

Encouragement Services, Inc. (ESI), is a nonprofit corporation committed to extensive encouragement services that advance educational and career development. ESI incorporated in 2001 and received determination in 2002 from IRS as a not-for-profit corporation organized for a significant public purpose and, therefore, tax-exempt.

The public-benefit purpose of the Corporation is to advance the educational and career development of students, prospective students, and adults. The Corporation is organized exclusively for educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the creation of products and services that enable schools, public services, and other entities to provide guidance, support, and encouragement to students, prospective students, and adults in matters pertaining to career and educational development.

The mission of the corporation is to facilitate creation of extensive encouragement systems. Located in Indiana, ESI plans to work throughout the nation in support of extensive encouragement services.

ESI is the administrative home of the Indiana Pathways to College Network, an organization committed to improve college access and success by providing professional development services and resources that support a wide variety of professionals working to improve college access and success.

ESI is the developer of the Career and Postsecondary Encouragement Network, which provides the Universal Encouragement Program, a series of online guidance assessments for students in Grades 6-12 and the Connext Program, an online guidance assessment for students out of high school.
