The Indiana Career Information System (ICIS)Through arrangement with intoCareers, ESI administers the Indiana Career Information System and provides training, marketing, and support services for this Indiana-tailored comprehensive career information delivery system. ICIS is available to Indiana schools, organizations and individuals at no cost. Key Features ICIS offers detailed information about 900+ occupational families including state and national wage data, employment outlook, training requirements, related industries and more. Encyclopedic information about Indiana and U.S. colleges and universities and programs of study enables detailed investigation of education and training options. A set of interest, values, skills, and reality checking assessments helps users to identify and explore life-style choices, occupations, and programs of study. Sorting tools enable identification of colleges, occupations, and scholarships by matching with personally selected criteria. A portfolio system provides users with the capability to store information, assessment results, sort lists, plans, and reflections. ICIS is available in four environments that are oriented to users: middle school, high school, college, and adults. Registered users have administration, reporting, and management tools that enable review of portfolios and tracking use of the system. Users may access the system at www.incis.intocareers.org.
